Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Square Yards ("we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the Square Yards Data Intelligence platform and all associated services ("Platform").

By registering for an account, accessing the Platform, or using any service within the Data Intelligence suite, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the Platform.

The Data Intelligence Platform provides a suite of data services for the real estate and financial sectors, including but not limited to:

• REI Dashboard — real estate investment analytics and market insights
• Transaction Search — search and retrieval of property transaction history
• Desktop Valuation — remote automated property valuation reports
• Physical Valuation — on-site property valuation reports
• Project Monitoring Reports — construction project compliance and progress tracking
• Litigation Search — property legal status and dispute verification
• Title Search — property ownership chain verification
• Approved Project Finance (APF) — project finance eligibility data
• Map Analytics — geospatial and location-based property intelligence
• Cadastral Service (Naksha 360) — government land records and cadastral map data
• API Access — programmatic access to all above services via REST API

We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with or without notice.

The Platform is intended for business and professional use only. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use the Platform.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately at connect@squareyards.com upon becoming aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach.

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your internal business purposes.

You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any data, reports, or content obtained through the Platform without our prior written consent
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code or underlying data models of the Platform
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data beyond what is permitted by your API usage plan
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Platform to third parties without express written authorisation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or security of the Platform or its underlying infrastructure
• Use data obtained from the Platform to build a competing product or service

Access to certain services is governed by a prepaid credit (wallet) system. Credits are deducted per query, report, or API call in accordance with the pricing schedule applicable to your subscription plan.

All wallet top-ups and purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in a separate agreement. Unused credits do not carry over beyond the validity period specified in your plan.

We reserve the right to modify service pricing with reasonable prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Data provided through the Platform is sourced from government registries, proprietary databases, and third-party data providers. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure data accuracy and currency, we do not warrant that any information, report, or output is error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

Reports generated by the Platform — including valuation reports, title searches, litigation searches, and transaction histories — are provided for informational and reference purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, or a certified professional opinion. You should independently verify critical information before making any financial, legal, or investment decisions.

We expressly disclaim liability for any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on Platform outputs.

The Platform, including its software, design, algorithms, data models, and all content generated by Square Yards, is the exclusive intellectual property of Square Yards and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Report outputs generated specifically from your queries are licensed to you for your internal use. All underlying data, algorithms, and platform infrastructure remain the property of Square Yards.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Platform may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

You agree to treat all non-public information about the Platform, its data sources, algorithms, and pricing as confidential and not to disclose such information to any third party without our prior written consent.

We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Square Yards shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Square Yards, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our discretion, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at connect@squareyards.com. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall so survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiations within 30 days of written notice.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, by notifying registered users via email.

Your continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
